Look “vaguely familiar”, Children of Star Wars?  As seen in numerous Star Wars episodes, “The Death Star” was to be the penultimate Mass Weapon of Destruction by The Imperial Fleet.  But what was it “modeled” after?

The Vostok, of course!  During the late 1960’s and 1970’s, the birth of Stars Wars’, the Vostok space capsule of the “Evil empire” – The Soviet Union –  was the perfect model for The Imperial Death Star.  With the likely and vague and lateral implication that “if” the Death Star succeeded, all that was sacred in the diverse, rabbling “Rebel Fleet”, would perish. LUKE!
