La Vagabonde makes its first BIG Jibe towards calmer wind and Bermuda! (I think; from the weather pattern below). They initiated the jibe in a ‘purple’ lull between two LOWS. NO WORRIES! They are making great speed towards Hamilton at ~ 8 kt.s on a starboard broad reach that could become a starboard beam reach for the next couple of days if they don’t stop long, or not at all! The wind from the Southeast looks like a perfect run to Madrid, España and #COP25.
[You. may wonder why I am going into this much detail on the sailing technique? The reason is, as I drove over WA 520 floating bridge in my EV today, I saw a sailing class of tough grade-school girls in their Sunfishes™ with the same bright rainbows sails – IN THE RAIN AND COLD – of Union Bay. Who knows, how may NEW Víkingurs are being created in Greta’s image!!! I hope ALT! ALT FOR GRETA! So, maybe some of them or their mothers’ are reading about Greta learning how to sail on the Malizia cross over.]
