President Trump mocks Global Warming and American science. Lucky Us.
“Louisiana and Mississippi continue to deal with flooding…” as they will for the rest of their existence as land-masses.
There it is. These snapshots on the blog site are more for my records than to inform members of this unscientific nation. If you need me to explain why the Arctic Sea-Ice of our hemisphere is important to us today – now, you are most probably lost forever.
Note that the lack of an icebound North Slope and coastline in Alaska, and the lack of sea-ice into the Northwest Territories; the Amundsen Gulf,; half of Nunavut’s coast, and the perpetual lack of ice in the B-K region.
Unless a miracle is in the offing, which is highly unlikely, this summer will continue to set record heat waves and roast humanity on the Eastern Seaboard of America, and dump water on Louisiana and Texas until those coastlines – as they are now – recede; becoming so sodden and saline that they cannot support wetland plant life and decay into the Gulf.
We know this will happen, as predicted by every model known to climatology. We know as the glacial sheets and polar caps melt, the coast lines will rise asymmetrically and unevenly. Nothing that is happening is a surprise, America. Sorry.
