As we have documented, and other science services continually update,
- Since 2011, scientist who studied the Arctic Sea-Ice melt had indications that Global Warming was responsible for the Collapse of the Arctic Vortex every year.
- In the 2013-2014 Winter season, a new approach was tried. To model the local warming of the Barents-Kara Sea Region separately. It validated the idea that Global Warming of the Arctic was more than a mitigating circumstance for the Sudden Stratospheric Warming (SSW) which leads to instability of the Arctic Vortex.
“Collapse of the Arctic Vortex?” Yes. Look it up.
Every year, at the end of the Arctic Sea Ice summer melt, there is a minimum amount that is left. This is called the “Arctic Sea Ice Minimum.” Scientists are pretty transparent on this.
The region to look at for severity of the Arctic Sea Ice Minimum is along the coast of Central Siberia and Northern Russia. “Russia?” Yep. Russia…again.
Ever since 2011, the amount of Arctic Sea Ice around the Barents Islands has dramatically decreased leading to instabilities in Arctic Vortex which surrounds the cold, frigid air of the Arctic from unleashing themselves onto the North American East Coast.
It is the gasps of a Earth dramatically out of balance, attempting to put itself in balance by eliminating the source of global warming. Generally, this would happen smoothly. Now however, we have a dramatic shift each season.
Shielded somewhat is the Pacific edge of North America, as the Arctic winds crash down through the flat plains east of the Continental divide. We have know about this since 2009 when it was first modelled.
